Charles De Ketelaere remains to be the number one target now for AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara. The player who is 21 years old already missed Club Brugge's latest friendly game against Copenhagen as speculations grew about him being close to securing a transfer to the red and black faithful. The player, reportedly, does not want to play and risk being injured in the pre-season while negotiations for his purchase are at very advanced stages.
Acording to what is reported by CalcioMercato.com, De Ketelaere wants AC Milan and the feeling is mutual at Casa Milan. In fact, an agreement between the player's camp and the Serie A champions has been found: a contract is ready to be signed which will tie the starlet to Milanello for the next 5 seasons.
The agreement with Club Brugge, however, is yet to be found. The Belgian club is still carefully reviewing and evaluating the latest offer submitted by the AC Milan directors: a 30 million euros transfer fee. The answer, though, is expected to arrive in the next few days and we could expect positive news soon regarding this De Ketelaere front, concludes the report.
