Samu Castillejo is leaving AC Milan to Valencia.
Coach Gattuso, who worked with him before at the San Siro has requested his arrival and the deal has been done. The La Liga side have agreed personal terms with the former Villareal winger. As for the Rossoneri club, they chose to terminate the player's contract and no severance pay will be paid to Rossonero number 7. In return, he will be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
AC Milan will be able to save his salary on the balance sheet (reported about 6 million euros gross). While there will be no transfer fee, the Rossoneri could still look to get some cash as it is widely reported that some bonuses related to performances of the team and the winger can be paid to the red and black club.
Right now, Samu Castillejo is on his way to Valencia and was spotted at the Linate airport.
