AC Milan are in a race with Leeds United to sign Belgian starlet of Club Brugge Charles De Ketelaere. The player has been on the radar for the Rossoneri managers Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara for some months now and there is talk about the player favouring a move to the Italian champions over a move to the Premier League side Leeds United.
According to Phil Hay of the Athletic, Leeds United are happy to match the asking price of Club Brugge and the salary demands of Charles De Ketelaere. However, it's been made clear to them that the the player wants a move to AC Milan instead of them.
As per the same source, Leeds United are now keen on another player who is Paris Saint-Germain's Arnaud Kalimuendo, a 20-year-old French centre-forward who is now at the top of the agenda.
Charles De Ketelaere has played many games last season as a centre-forward and he can also play as a second striker and playmaker as well as right-winger. In the last campaign, he scored 18 goals and registered 10 assists after 49 appearances with 4138 minutes played.
