Tiémoué Bakayoko joined AC Milan last summer on a 2-year loan deal arriving from Premier League side Chelsea. The French defensive midfielder, however, did not convince and was left out of Pioli's plans. That is why his stay with the red and black faithful could be ended prematurely this summer.
The interest from French side Marseille has been reported before already. The interest is confirmed by Footmercato who write that Ligue 1 side Marseille have found the agreement with the former Monaco and Napoli player on a 4-year contract.
It appears, though, that Marseille's new coach, Igor Tudor, who was at Hellas Verona, has intervened and blocked the deal. On the other hand, Bakayoko has a market in Spain with Gattuso's Valencia interested.
