Charles De Ketelaere is getting closer and closer to making a move to the Italian champions and 7-time Champions League winners AC Milan.
Leeds United have been interested and showed great interest. However, it seems that the red and black faithful are the favourites to land the player.
As per The Athletic, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara in Belgium today will seek "a greater understanding of any final impediments to a deal."
Paulo Dybala was also considered as an option for Milan (transfer background revealed here), but they eventually decided to focus on De Ketelaere as he fit the club's philosophy of signing young talent with major potential. AC Milan see De Ketelaere as a versatile attacker, identified principally to upgrade right wing and attacking midfield.
