AC Milan's choice for the midfield is always Portuguese star of Lille: Renato Sanches. The 24-year-old player, formerly at Bayern Munich, however, has interest from Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain.
According to what is reported by Tuttosport, the Rossoneri are waiting for the answer of central midfielder mentioned above. But, they are looking for alternatives at the same time in order to not be unprepared. One of the players liked by Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara is Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo.
The former AC Monza player is also liked by AS Roma, but it seems that negotiations are really difficult as the Neroverdi club are asking for a high transfer fee: 30 million euros.
AC Milan are hoping to be able to close the deal with a 'Locatelli-transfer' style: paying the fee through several tranches. But at the moment, the priority remains Renato Sanches.
