AC Milan have secured the green light from Club Brugge for the signing of Belgian starlet Charles De Ketelaere who is 21 years old. The versatile attacking midfielder is set to be the newest addition to the team of Stefano Pioli this summer once he passes his medical visits successfully. Now, the Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are shifting their attention to another possible mercato shot which is aimed at reinforcing the defensive area.
According to the latest news reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, AC Milan and Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are in talks for the possible transfer of Senegalese former defender of Borussia Dortmund Abdou Diallo. The two clubs are working together on finding the right transfer formula that would please all parties involved as there is willingness to come to an agreement.
For Abdou Diallo's part, however, he wants to have more playing time and showcase his abilities more because there is a World Cup coming in November.
