AC Milan managed to beat Marseille yesterday at the Vélodrome stadium 2-0, goals thanks to Brazilian winger Junior Messias and French striker Olivier Giroud.
The man of the game was chosen: Junior Messias with a 7.5 rating for scoring a goal and providing an assist.
After him, there are the two central defenders Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu, Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer who worked really hard and showed their talents and superiority on the pitch. They were each given a 7 rating.
Davide Calabria and Olivier Giroud had a decent game and were granted a 6.5 score.
Then, there is Mike Maignan who was not tested all that much as he eventually kept a clean sheet: a rating of 6 for him. To have the same score, there is Simon Kjaer who finally returned to the pitch yesterday. A 6 also for Matteo Gabbia, Sandro Tonali, Brahim Diaz, Yacine Adli and Marko Lazetic.
Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic on the other hand, did not show the quality of play that the AC Milan fan was waiting for in the game against Marseille.
Fodé Ballo-Touré, Tiémoué Bakayoko and Rade Krunic were not given any ratings for their appearances.
Head coach Stefano Pioli had a 7.5 score.
