After focusing on Charles De Ketelaere and finally being able to sign him from Club Brugge, the trail for Hakim Ziyech cooled down for AC Milan, according to Italian media. But, in recent days in England, there has been some talk about the Moroccan winger still being linked with a move to the red and black faithful. The 29-year-old winger is out of the project of Thomas Tuchel and he is looking for an experience elsewhere.

In this sense, the Milan solution would be ideal and, on the Milanello side, would guarantee Pioli a new high quality addition which would take the Rossoneri to the next level. The negotiations, however, are difficult and to make a transfer happen, Chelsea must contribute to the salary payment of Hakim Ziyech (in a loan deal) who earns 6 million euros net per season. In recent days, the Rossoneri have held talks with Chelsea and are working under the radar for him, as per Corriere dello Sport.
In addition to that, Milan must make room on the right wing and would need to let go of one of Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers to avoid overcrowding the right flank, as reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in today's edition.
