AC Milan are continuing their search for a defensive midfielder after losing the services of Franck Kessié to FC Barcelona on a free transfer. The club management was not able to sign Renato Sanches, now at Paris Saint-Germain, who was linked with a move to the red and black faithful.
The latest profile to be linked with a move to Milan is Raphael Onyedika, a 21-year-old Nigerian talent of FC Midtjylland.
Speaking to Eurosport.dk, director of sport at Midtjylland, Svend Graversen, has spoken about the interest of the champions of Italy. Here are his words:
"We really want to keep him for another year."
The sporting director says he understands the great interest and confirms that he would like Onyedika to stay for one more season.
