AC Milan welcomed the arrival of Yacine Adli in the summer after he has finished his season on loan with Girondins de Bordeaux. The player did very well in the pre-season friendlies with the red and black shirt. But, he is yet to make one appearance since the start of the Serie A season with two games already played.
According to Calciomercato.com, Yacine Adli is currently the third choice for Stefano Pioli who sees him more of a playmaker or a winger (either on the left or right). These are two roles in which competition is high.
The player cannot play in front of the defence in the 4-2-3-1 formation of Pioli, adds the Italy-based website. Now, though, he will have to work harder in training to convince the head coach and climb the hierarchy in order to carve some space for himself as he wants to display his talent.
