Mateja Kezman, agent of 27-year-old Serbian midfield star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, who plays for Lazio, has spoken about the player's situation and future to Il Corriere dello Sport:
"Everyone in Juve loves the player. I have talked about him very often in the past. But the reality, at the moment, is that the Sergej project is too expensive for them. They were clear and correct. The same goes for Milan. Pioli loves the player, all in the club. I have great respect for Maldini, first as a player and now as a manager, an honest and straightforward person."
The agent of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic added:
"If miracles do not happen in these last three days of transfer market, he will stay at Lazio. Until time will tell. This summer, no club is was ready to pay what Lotito (Lazio president) asked, so I think the situation will not change. It's not easy to please Lotito, after Sergej's great season I thought that 100% a club would come with an offer. But because of Covid and then the situation has changed since the war. Italian clubs cannot afford him now. Those abroad show great interest, but when they understand how much money is needed, this becomes a problem."
