In the last few hours, an important update from Financial Times arrived claiming that the closing between RedBird Capital Partners and Elliott should take place "as early as Wednesday" with two new investors coming with Gerry Cardinale who are Main Street Advisors and the New York Yankees (read here).
Class CNBC have tried to reach out to RedBird for a confirmation regarding the news, but there was no comment granted from the current owners.
The same source, however, writes that Gerry Cardinale aims to bring a series of agreements and partnerships to increase the club's strategic growth and value.
RedBird aims to involve co-investors in the takeover for AC Milan, investors who can help increase the Rossoneri's revenues, brand image and activities. Other actions and operations for the club are also being studied.
