According to La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the transfer of shares between Elliott and RedBird will be made official today.
The Italian newspaper confirms that New York Yankees and fund of Main Street Advisors will invest in AC Milan as well as other important figures such as Riccardo Silva (a known Milan fan, owner of Miami FC and close friend to Gerry Cardinale as well as Paolo Maldini). Hugh Evans and Ramzi Musallam will also be among investors, present in a personal capacity, and not with the Veritas Capital fund.
Cardinale will be granted between 30 and 60 days for the inclusion of new lenders in his new Milan, a condition that will then determine the value of the vendor loan (Elliott's loan to RedBird) which should be around 550 million and not 600 any longer. The RedBird's number one should arrive in Italy between Friday and Saturday, so as to presumably be present in the stands next to Gordon Singer for his first Derby della Madonnina as owner of the Rossoneri club. He will then stay a few days in Italy, as relayed by MilanPress.it.
