AC Milan forward, Olivier Giroud, who scored a goal in the derby della Madonnina at the San Siro this evening, has spoken to DAZN microphones after the victory. He said the following about the 3-2 win:
"We wanted to celebrate all together, we have a fantastic group with a great team spirit and cohesion. We have many young players, every day it is a pleasure to work with these talents. There is a lot of energy, we celebrated for this."
It was a crazy game...
"At 3-1, we had to end the game. But, Dzeko made it 3-2. We did well, though, in the end with a great match from our defenders. All together, we worked hard not to leave too many spaces between the lines. Today, we had a compact team without leaving any spaces."
Giroud on Rafael Leao:
"I wasn't worried about him, I knew he would stay here”.
A message to Florenzi?
"The shirt is for Florenzi, who got hurt. I think he will come back after the World Cup, a big hug to you, brother."
