Tomorrow night, Champions League football finally starts. A new campaign for AC Milan's team as Stefano Pioli and the whole club with the new ownership, RedBird Capital Partners, will be looking to do better than last season.
The Rossoneri head coach is definitely preparing in the best possible way to make his squad battle-ready. According to what is reported by Italian website MilanPress.it, Stefano Pioli has two doubts in view of the first Champions League game against RB Salzburg tomorrow.
As per the source, the first concern is regarding the playmaker's position. The spot is up for the taking as Charles De Ketelaere and Brahim Diaz are in the race to earn a start.
The second race is for the right-winger position. AC Milan boss will have to choose one between Alexis Saelemaekers or Junior Messias. In midfield, however, the pair of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer should be confirmed. The pair in the central defence area will also be made up of Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori.
Finally, former FC Barcelona player, the American 21-year-old right-back Sergino Dest should be in line for his first start. A debut for him is possible.
