AC Milan played an important game to start their journey in the UEFA Champions League competition. The game against RB Salzburg was very intense, physical and with a very high pace. The Rossoneri, who played the derby just last Saturday worked very hard. However, and unfortunately, they could not secure a win.

Chelsea have surprisingly lost against Dinamo Zagreb away from home 1-0. That result made the Rossoneri really desire the win. However, the game settled on a draw 1-1. Noah Okafor scored a good goal at around 28th minute. Alexis Saelemaekers found the equaliser at around the 40th minute after an assist from Rafael Leao.

There were some chances here and there in the rest of the match for both sides. Milan enjoyed more posession of the ball and came very close to securing the victory in dying seconds of the game. Rafael Leao's shot hit the post and no one was able to follow it up to put the ball in the net. Overall, it was not a bad game. Milan tried to get the win, but RB Salzburg are no walk in the park. The Austrians have not lost a game last season in their home ground in the Champions League.
