French former striker of AC Milan, Jean-Pierre Papin, also a winner of the Ballon d'Or, was interviewed by FanPage. Here are his words about the Rossoneri:
On Olivier Giroud:
"You don't play in Milan by chance, and Olivier has shown that he is important for the team. He was world champion in France. Giroud is a smart guy. he knows how to play for the team and scores often. In addition, he has shown that he can do it consistently even in Italy. Even though it has changed today, in my day it was much more difficult to score, many teams always aimed for 0-0."
Papin on Milan's loss against Marseille in the Champions League final:
"It was something very special, I didn't live it well. But life is also this, I had made a choice by opting for Milan. These are risks that are taken to seek new challenges and aim for the best. And sometimes things go wrong."
