Inter started their Champions League journey with a loss against Bayern Munich at the San Siro yesterday. The team of Simone Inzaghi lost 2-0.
After the game, Inter's defender, Danilo D’Ambrosio, made some statements to the media as he insisted that only Bayern Munich team is better, despite having already lost to AC Milan and Lazio in the league:
"I think that the only team above us is Bayern tonight. With Lazio and Milan, we could clearly have done better. I don't know what we are missing."
D’Ambrosio added:
"I only know that unexpected things can be achieved with work: obsession beats talent. We never give up. We analysed the match against Milan and we understood that we could have won it because in certain situations we were not lucid. We will analyse this match until we become almost perfect."
