Midtjylland sold the card of their star Raphael Onyedika to Club Brugge at the end of the recent summer transfer window. The Nigerian defensive midfielder was among the profiles followed by AC Milan. But, it seems that another talent at Midtjylland has caught the attention of the Serie A champions.
The player in question is Danish right-winger Gustav Isaksen who scored a goal against Lazio and earned two penalties in the same match thanks to his dribbling skills and cunning.
His contract with the Danish club runs until June 2024. He is 21 years old and can play with both feet. His side beat up Maurizio Sarri's team 5-1 last night in the Europa League. In the stands, there were many scouts from European clubs interested in his profile including those from AC Milan and also Fiorentina. Fiorentina, have already made a high concrete offer, as per Gianluca Di Marzio.
Midtjylland's sporting director said: "We have already said no to the 15 million offered by a Premier club at the end of the last transfer market as the player (Isaksen) is worth more."
The player was asked about the country, Italy, and said the following: "What do I like about Italy? I've played three tournaments with you in the past with our youth teams. I love this country , your climate and above all the cuisine. In particular the ravioli. And then it seems to me a championship suitable for me. If I could choose I would have no doubts", as relayed by GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
