AC Milan are challenged by Napoli tonight at the San Siro but their rivalry does not only apply to the pitch, but also in the transfer market window. As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs respective managers have always worked well, in serenity and with competence as they tried to sign important talents with the resources available.
As published in La Gazzetta dello Sport's newspaper, the Rossoneri's strategy in the last market was clear: young players, possibly from the year 2000 and onwards and with limited salaries.
The only experience acquisition was Divock Origi, signed as a free agent. Among the most important hits of the last markets, however, there are certainly Pierre Kalulu, Mike Maignan, Theo Hernandez and Sandro Tonali, in addition to the newly arrived Charles De Ketelaere, on whom the Italian champions have focused a lot.
