AC Milan are plagued with injuries, from Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez, to Zlatan Ibrahimovic passing by Alexis Saelemaekers and other players. Stefano Pioli certainly has many absences to deal with as he tries to get his available players ready to face the next challenge against Chelsea in the Champions League at the Stamford Bridge.
One of the issues is Junior Messias being in doubt and Saelemaekers being out due to a serious injury as medical examinations revealed a partial injury to the medial collateral ligament. Now, the Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are forced to look into alternative options to reinforce the right flank.
As per Calciomercato.com, the scouting department of Milan has a long list of possible profiles that can suit Pioli's system. Among the names highlighted in the offices of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, there is Danish right-winger Gustav Isaksen of Midtjylland.
The 21-year-old who is now on AC Milan's radar can play with both feet well. He is 21 years of age with a contract valid until June 2024. In 17 appearances so far this season with his team, he contributed 5 goals (one of which was against Serie A side AS Roma) and he provided one assist.
According to Calcio Mercato, the player's value should be around 5 million euros and AC Milan will decide in the coming days if they should present an offer to the Danish club or not.
