The AC Milan Primavera team continue to get positive results in the UEFA Youth League group stage under the guidance of head coach Ignazio Abate. Today, they have secured a draw against Chelsea and could have even brought home 3 valuable points from Cobham.
The Rossoneri boys scored in the first half thanks to Serbian central defender Jan-Carlo Simic. The first half was very good. The second half, however, saw the Blues attacking with more aggression and speed. They had important chances before eventually successfully converting a scoring opportunity in the 65th minute.
The red and black faithful had a strong reaction, though, and created quite a few scoring chances. But they were unlucky in their quest to find the winner.
This is the starting lineup of the AC Milan Primavera which was deployed by Ignazio Abate:
Nava; Bakoune, Simic, Paloschi, Bartesaghi; Eletu (60' Pluvio), Marshage, Zeroli (68' Stalmach); Traoré (68' Alesi), Mangiameli (60' Longhi), El Hilali (90'+1 Parmiggiani)
The group E of the Youth League, therefore, ends this way: Milan are first with 5 points after 3 games. RB Salzburg are in second position with the same amount of points as the Rossoneri. Dinamo Zagreb have 3 points while Chelsea are last with only 2.
