AC Milan have many players who are unavailable due to injuries and that clearly affects the decisions of Stefano Pioli when he creates his lineups prior to games. Some of the key players who are out are Mike Maignan, Simon Kjaer and Charles De Ketelaere for example.
According to what is reported by the daily Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport in this morning's print edition, Maignan is clinically cured and awaits the green light from the doctors to return to training in a group. His return is scheduled for Milan-Monza on 22 October.
The AC Milan - Monza game could also mean the return of Charles De Ketelaere to the team.
As for Simon Kjaer, however, he is aiming to be part of the trip to Croatia to face Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on October 25.
