Matteo Gabbia spoke to Milan TV at the end of Dinamo Zagreb - Milan which ended in a victory for the Rossoneri 0-4. Here are the defender's words:
"I am very happy for the goal. The defensive work was fundamental but it was the merit of the whole squad."
He continued:
"For us defenders it is important to perform and above all not to concede a goal. I hope that this match will bring us closer and closer to new goals."
On Simon Kjaer, Gabbia said:
"I owe Kjaer and I will always have to thank him. He has taken me under his wing and always gives me advice. We spend a lot of time together even off the pitch, I thank him very much."
On his goal scored against Dinamo Zagreb tonight:
"I've been waiting for it for a long time, it has always been a dream. When you go to some realities you have to settle down."
Gabbia concluded:
"I've tried to work well in every team I've been to, the experience in Serie C has helped me a lot. If I went back I would do it again."
