The AC Milan's gaffer, Stefano Pioli, has spoken to the microphones of Amazon Prime Video in view of the Champions League clash against RB Salzburg. Here are his words:
"Milan must play well, as a team and with great energy. They cannot think of starting the game by managing the result because this is not part of our style. We are aware of the importance of the match (against RB Salzburg)."
Pioli on his favourite coaches:
"For me, Guardiola and Ancelotti are the two best coaches in the world. Ancelotti at Milan made history, they were certainly different eras. I don't know him personally, but I believe he has superior intelligence and a unique ability to get into the heads and hearts of the players. He certainly he is a great coach."
On his experience with AC Milan so far and the contract renewal
"Here, I have always felt appreciated, respected and supported. This allows me to give my best and that's what I hope for. The club once again proved ready, attentive and we are very happy. The continuation of a path that has begun but still sees us full of challenges and ambitions. My dream has already come true because I coach a top club, I have fantastic players with spectacular fans."
Pioli concluded:
"This is our reality, we have built it and we are cultivating it to try to continue growing."
