AC Milan could be a tempting destination for the French defender of Bayern Munich Benjamin Pavard who won the World Cup with the France national team in 2018. The 26-year-old has granted an interview to the microphones of La Gazzetta dello Sport and said the following words:
“Olivier (Giroud) always tells me that Italy is a country that thrives on football one hundred per cent. He told me about the magic of the derbies, the big fan celebrations for the Scudetto.I’d really like to play with him also because he’s a great friend. We’ll see.”
Pavard on the Serie A league:
“Winning is never easy, but Serie A is very interesting not only for a defender like me, but also because it’s very open, as my friends Giroud, Theo Hernandez and Rabiot tell me. Just look at the ongoing duel between Napoli and Milan. And with Inter, which hasn’t been easy to deal with in the Champions League, and Perisic was also talking about it at the time. Today’s Juventus is undergoing reconstruction, they will soon return to its level in Europe as well.”
