Zlatan Ibrahimovic was awarded the Player Career Award at the Globe Soccer Awards event tonight. The Swede striker, spoke on this occasion to Sky Sport Italia. Here are his words:

Ibrahimovic on what he expects from AC Milan:
"This championship is a little different, I couldn't be there in the first part of the season, I hope so in the second. The team has grown a lot since I arrived. The team is doing well, Napoli is doing better and it shows in the standings. But the second part is more important than the first."
Do you still hope in the Scudetto this season?
"Why should we not believe in it? We always do."
On AC Milan's Champions League clash against Tottenham in February 2023:
"The Champions League is always difficult. It will be an open game, there is no favourite. You have to feel good when the time comes."
Ibrahimovic on Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara:
"They are doing a tremendous job. Thanks to them, Milan is going through this successful journey. Milan is growing as a team and as a club, the club is in new hands and it's not like before. We are doing a great job, everyone is responsible and everyone is doing well."
