There are obviously some top clubs interested in the former Lille talent. Now, as per El Nacional newspaper, La Liga giants Real Madrid would be preparing an important fee to bring the Portuguese star to the Santiago Bernabeu.
It seems that Florentino Perez is crazy about Leao and considers him a future world class star to be at the same level of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo Goes and Aurélien Tchouaméni. The Spaniards are preparing, reportedly, a fee of 90 million euros.
The 90 million euros offered would make AC Milan certainly feel the pressure and consider agreeing to a sale. Leao's contractual issue is already known to all, with the current agreement expiring in June 2024 and the difficulties in renewing due to the player's high economic demands.
As per the same source, in event of a sale, Rafael Leao's heir is already being monitored by the club and it is Jérémy Doku of Ligue 1 club Rennes. He is a 20-year-old Belgian left-winger with a contract valid until June 2025.
