AC Milan's centre-back, Fikayo Tomori, spoke to SportMediaset from Dubai about being left out of the England squad chosen by Gareth Southgate for the Qatar World Cup:
"Obviously there was disappointment because I wanted to go to the World Cup. Now I have to do more to go to the 2024 European Championships. I have to keep working and let's see."
On the Serie A Scudetto race, he said:
"We want to win again. We won last year, the feeling when you win is amazing. It will be harder this year."
On the goal against Arsenal in the Dubai Super Cup friendly match:
"I wanted to improve on this aspect. My job is to defend the goal, if I do it and we win, that's enough for me."
