Rafael Leao's contract expires in June 2024 and the AC Milan club directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are still keen on trying to reach an agreement with the player's entourage for a new deal.
According to what is reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, the issue must be solved as soon as possible for Milan. However, the Portuguese left-winger still has a problem of his own which is the debt owed to Sporting Lisbon.
To be able to start repaying that huge fee, Rafael Leao is asking for a big salary from AC Milan. The demands are set at around 7 or 7.5 million euros net per season.
