AC Milan are worried about the goalkeeping post, Mike Maignan's calf is still struggling with the injury. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are evaluating ideas in the transfer market window.
According to what is reported by SportMediaset, Marco Sportiello does have a deal agreed in place with the Rossoneri: a 3-year contract with 1 million euros as net salary per season. However, the negotiations are very difficult with Atalanta. The club is not open to selling their backup goalkeeper in the January transfer market window and would rather see him leave on a free in the summer.
AC Milan, therefore, are looking for an alternative plan and Alessio Cragno is the latest name on the radar now. The goalkeeper's card is owned by Cagliari and he is currently at Serie A side Monza. As per SportMediaset, Cragno, who has not found much space at Monza, could end his adventure there and move to Milan on loan.
