Former head coach of AC Milan among other top clubs, Fabio Capello, spoke to Milan News. In the interview, he had his say on the future and contractual situation of Portugal forward Rafael Leao:
"If Leao has become what he has become, he owes it to Milan, and he owes the club some gratitude, which Donnarumma didn't do. If there is no more gratitude, nothing can be said. The player has shown that he is important. At the World Cup, he played with the handbrake on a little, but as he got free he showed off all his qualities."
On Mike Maignan's period of absence due to the injury:
"Maignan is a serious loss for Milan. he gives security to the whole defence, he is a leader. He will be a heavy absence... Let's hope he's ready for the Champions League."
