AC Milan must do everything in their power to catch up to Napoli in the standings and overtake them in order to successfully defend their Scudetto trophy. Stefano Pioli is relying on all available players and he should be able to count of Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez very soon.
As reported by the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's print edition, the two Frenchmen mentioned above are already working at Milanello with the rest of their teammates. The left-back and the centre-forward are training regularly despite having returned to Milanello on December 30.
Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez should probably start in the match against Salernitana on January 4, this Wednesday, despite their late returns to the club's training grounds.
