As reported by those at Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper in this morning's print edition, AC Milan are indeed still looking for another goalkeeper even after the acquisition of Devis Vasquez.
After the arrival of the Colombian shotstopper, Andreas Jungdal was let go on a loan transfer to Austrian outfit Altach with the option to buy. The Rossoneri also reserved the right to exercise a buy-back clause in the future as well.
The transfer market moves regarding goalkeeper area does not stop here as the AC Milan management are eyeing up a few other names as potential reinforcements this January. However, it seems that the trail leading to Sergio Rico of Paris Saint-Germain has cooled down. As for Marco Sportiello's trail, it is also difficult because Atalanta will have to look for another goalkeeper to replace him and they also asked for an important transfer figure at around 4 to 5 million euros.
Marco Sportiello, however, is still booked by AC Milan in view of the next summer transfer window session. The experienced Italian should be able to join the Rossoneri as a free agent.
