The Algerian midfielder who is heavily relied on by head coach Stefano Pioli will enjoy a new net salary of 4 million euros per season. Our correspondent Vito Angelè confirms the news launched by Sky Sport Italia.
As for the 50 million euros release clause, AC Milan will keep it in the new contract.
The former Arsenal and Empoli midfielder will, therefore, receive a much deserved new salary. So far this season, he managed to make 22 appearances between the Champions League and Serie A. He registered 1 goal and 1 asisst to his name. He played a total of 1568 minutes across all competition this term so far.
