AC Milan started their transfer market session of January with a surprising signing: Devis Vasquez, a 24-year-old Colombian goalkeeper coming from Club Guarani from Paraguay.
The Tuttosport newspaper spoke to Augusto Ayala who is now the former coach of the young keeper. Here are his words about the newest Milan addition:
"He's a boy with brilliant prospects. A perfect goalkeeper for the style of play in the Italian league. He had a lot of continuity. From a personal point of view, he matured a lot. He started from the reserves and then is imposed with merit in the first team. Our style of play calls for the goalkeeper to be an extra outfield player, know how to use his feet, have technical skills in controlling and passing the ball. He's reactive, quick, flexible, determined, very strong between the posts."
