Former legendary head coach of AC Milan Arrigo Sacchi, had his words about the Rossoneri club and their players printed, as usual, on La Gazzetta dello Sport:
"Milan vs Roma? These are matches in which you must dominate the game. If you dominate, the self-esteem of your rival collapses. And then, the pace must always be very high."
AC Milan has one of the best left flanks in the world...
"Milan on the left has a formidable duo: Theo Hernandez and Leao, if it's their day, they are phenomenal. But the whole team must appear compact and work to quickly reach the final phase. Possession must be rapid, not horizontal. And to do this it is necessary that the Rossoneri move in the spaces, all eleven of them, because in Italy there are very few teams that move simultaneously in eleven. Quick touches, low shots, attacks in defenseless areas so as to force the opponents to move from their positions."
On the Scudetto race, Sacchi said:
"The important thing is that Milan have more and more self-confidence and believe in what they are doing. The road to success is clear: becoming a collective, all united by an invisible thread which is the game."
In other Milan news, AC Milan are looking to sign this defender next summer...
