Andreas Jungdal has signed with Austrian Club SCR Altach on loan. After some reports and speculations, it's now all official and sealed.
The Austrian club have released a statement confirming the signing of the Danish goalkeeper on loan. Here are the details:
"Altach reached an agreement with the reigning Italian champions Milan about the transfer of Andreas Jungdal. The 20-year-old has signed a loan contract in Rheindorf until the summer of 2023, after which there is the option of a permanent signing."
"The 1.95m goalkeeper joined Milan from Vejle in July 2019, where he was coached by goalkeeping legends Dida and Flavio Roma, among others. Jungdal featured in AC's Primavera team, keeping eight clean sheets in 23 games in the 2020/21 season."
"The Dane, who was born in Singapore, has been a member of the first team's training group since last season. Stefano Pioli took him with him time and again as a backup goalkeeper, for example he watched eleven Champions League games from the bench. He recently made his debut for the U21 national team in Denmark's 3-0 win over Hungary."
