AC Milan and Inter will challenge each other as each side will want to bring the supercoppa trophy home. The Rossoneri are not exactly in their best forms and rhythms but a win on January 18. But, Inter are coming from a win in the league against Hellas Verona with recently decent perfomrances.
According to what has been reported by FCInter1908, the total amount due to Inter and Milan for participation in the event is 7.5 million euros.
The contract with the organising committee in Saudi Arabia says that when a top club (Milan, Inter, Juventus and AS Roma, as stated here) participates in the supercoppa fixture an additional €500,000 is granted. But, if it's two clubs facing each other for the trophy, then an amount of 1.25 million euros added.
