AC Milan's right-back and captain, Davide Calabria, spoke to the media in a press conference in Riyadh about the derby clash for the super cup trophy. Here are his statements:
"We have talked, but we remain as positive as we were before. I have not seen my teammates being down. Obviously, there were no results, but we have to keep working as usual."
Who talks the most?
"I think those with more experience. But I must say that even from this point of view, we assume responsibility: from the first to the last, everyone participates. What we said remains in locker room."
Calabria on the challenge with Inter's Dimarco:
"With Dimarco it will be a good challenge. We grew up together in the youth sector of the national team, I'm happy that he's back at Inter."
On his career and future:
"I've been here for a lifetime, I hope I can finish my career here."
If the team had enough after one Scudetto victory:
"It's absurd to think of being full for a Scudetto, precisely because we've seen what it feels like to win, we want to do it again. There's hunger and desire to work. The season is long and the decline is normal. We are here to win. Lifting a trophy as captain? Yes I can imagine, my goal is to lift this trophy. My dream is to lift as many trophies as possible in my career, of course I dream of these things."
On the challenge with the rivals Inter:
"It's a final, this too is part of a journey of ups and downs. Being here as captain is definitely a great thing. Playing it is one thing, winning it is another. I don't like making comparisons: I want to write my own story."
