Tottenham will face AC Milan on February 14 at the San Siro stadium. Both sides are going through difficulties in their respective seasons with the Rossoneri having just lost the Supercoppa Italiana against Inter after being eliminated from Coppa Italia.
Coach Antonio Conte is currently not happy with how things are for him in England as he had these words to say, as relayed by SportMediaset:
"Losing in such a short time three people I knew very well (Gian Piero Ventrone, Sinisa Mihajlovic and Gianluca Vialli, ed.) was not easy. When this situation happens it leads you to have important reflections. Many times we think and give a lot of importance to our work and forget the family. We forget that we need to have more time for us. This season is making me do some important thinking about my future. When you work and work is at the top of your mind and in your head, maybe we forget to be with family and friends. This is our passion and because of passion we have lost many things. But when this situation happens, you start to think that maybe it is good to spend more time with your family and friends, and also with yourself. Work is not everything in life."
Conte continued:
"Definitely having my family in Italy is not good, not good. But when you have a son or daughter and children in school then you have to respect them because if every year or two you have to take your children to totally change their environment... I don't want to influence my family's life."
In the Champions League round of 16, Milan will face Tottenham Hotspur over two legs (February 14th at the San Siro and March 8th at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Meanwhile, fresh from a Supercoppa victory vs Milan, Edin Dzeko aimed a dig at the Rossoneri.
