AC Milan well-known fan and commentator, Tiziano Crudeli, went on a rant as he had so much to say about AC Milan's performance. In fact, the 79-year-old Italian did not hold back with his own ratings to the players and also to head coach Stefano Pioli. Here are the ratings with his own comments:
For him, Tatarusanu received a 5.5: He makes some important saves, so he doesn't get a heavy deficit. But on the occasion of Inter's second goal he could have done something more on Dzeko's shot from a tight angle.
Calabria received a 4.5: The Nerazzurri players constantly slipped from his side. He leaves behind him so much space. A captain in the derby cannot play like this. Useless tears on the bench. Maximum disappointment.
Kjaer with a 5.5: Perhaps, the least worst of Milan's terrible defense. However, this is not enough for this. He keeps Barella in play for the Nerazzurri 0-1. He often battles with Dzeko, who however gets the better of the Dane several times.
Tomori, 4: unrecognisable central defender. He gives inexplicable balls to his opponents. Total disaster.
Theo Hernandez, 5: Every now and then it tries to accelerate, without continuity. A distant relative of the Theo Hernandez of the past
Tonali, 5: Another unrecognizable player compared to the one we used to admire. He approaches the game in a bad way, making many mistakes, even easy ones...
Bennacer, 5.5: perhaps the one that pulls most towards Inter's goal. Without success, of course. Either he shoots it away from the posts or between Onana's gloves.
Messias, 4.5: Absolute zero, or almost. A ghost. Smokey and disoriented, he can't get anything done from his side.
Brahim Diaz, 5: Nothing that could justify a buy-option at 22 million euros...
Leao, 5.5: A few attempts and shots from long-range aren't enough. Especially for a player like him. Champions are seen on these occasions... Big players drag the team in big nights and big matches. He didn't do it...
Giroud, 5: But up front who scores goals? It's true that he gets very few good balls, but you can see with the naked eye that he's in serious trouble at the moment. Someone notices this as soon as possible, please.
Pioli, 2: Shock start, usual shaky defence.Ready, go and Inter are immediately ahead, easily bypassing the bewildered Rossoneri's defence. Another 10 minutes go by and Milan decides to have another colossal collective sleep...Unwatchable, terrifying, hallucinating. As if a defense in this state weren't enough, in the first half you don't even see anything up front. Zero ideas, zero shots. In the second we see a minimal reaction, which however cannot be enough. How do you lose a derby in a cup final like this? Have you seen what Pioli managed to do? How do you turn the Italian champion team into this total mess? A disaster. Shame!
