AC Milan lost in a brutal way the Supercoppa fixture which was held in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh against their bitter rivals Inter. Simone Inzaghi's team were simply better prepared and more focused than Stefano Pioli's boys.
There is always tension between fans for the Derby della Madonnina, naturally and also between some players. Once the match ends, some choose to taunt the other side while others choose to be respectful and even consoling to their rivals. The latter is the case of 33-year-old Italian right-back Matteo Darmian who is an AC Milan Primavera graduate.
A video of him talking to Milan players, shaking their hands and even hugging them has went viral. A truly classy and beautiful gesture by the Iner player after a fair victory for the Nerazzurri. Here's the video below:
