According to what is reported in this morning's print edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan's interest in Nicolo Zaniolo is there. But, multiple other clubs are also keen on signing him.
Claudio Vigorelli, who is the agent of the AS Roma star will have contacts today with some Premier League clubs like Tottenham and West Ham. He was also contacted by the Rossoneri director Paolo Maldini, just like last summer. The AC Milan technical area director reminded the agent that the red and black side of Milano will be ready to intervene in the market to sign him if any current negotiations do not unlock in this winter transfer market window.
The Italian newspaper, however, suggests that if Gerry Cardinale gave the green light, the Rossoneri would be happy to move to steal Zaniolo from the competition. On the other hand, given that the attacker's contract which expires in June 2024, in six months his value would plummet, putting Roma in great difficulty, given that Nicolò has no intention of signing a contract renewal. In other Milan news, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reacted at Milanello to Calhanoglu's words...
