The AC Milan club directors, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, are looking for ways to reinforce the team of Stefano Pioli. The squad is going through a difficult period right now and it is clear that some things must be fixed. Perhaps in a transfer window, the club will look at some profiles to fix some issues in view of the next season.

According to what is reported by the Italy-based website, Calciomercatoweb.it, the Rossoneri managers are evaluating the option to sign a young talent from FC Barcelona.

As per the latest rumour, the player in question is Ilias Akhomach. He is a Spanish right-winger who is 18 years old. His contract with the Spanish heavyweights expires in June 2023 and renewing it with them is difficult as he is unlikely to get a lot of space in the first team of head coach Xavi Hernandez.

As per the source, AC Milan could try a ‘last-minute’ offer to sign the Spanish forward on a bargain fee in the last few days of the mercato to pressure FC Barcelona into letting him go instead of losing him for free in the summer. Ilias Akhomach could be the breath of fresh air into the team as it has been struggling a lot in the attacking department.
