The transfer market is over and the AC Milan directors were unable to make any significant incoming transfers. No help for Stefano Pioli from the mercato. He has to rely on his own available players for the coming derby fixture against Simone Inzaghi's team.
Sky sport Italia's journalist Stefano De Grandis, spoke earlier today and tried to hypothesize a possible 3-man midfield for Milan in view of the derby and in light of Ismael Bennacer's likely absence. Here are his statements:
"Bennacer won't be there: two of the three will be Tonali and one between Krunic or Pobega. Who will be the third midfielder? I'd bet on Vranckx, a player from 2002 who also played as a playmaker at Wolfsburg and who knows how to fit in and has good physicality. Then, during the match you can also use Brahim Diaz, De Ketelaere or Rebic himself who can play in the 4-3-3 in the trident."
