AC Milan directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are keeping a very close eye on the injury of Fikayo Tomori who had to leave the pitch during the match against Lazio in Serie A. The English defender, who struggled a lot this season already, is the centre of attention now and it is not excluded that the club wants to sign an alternative in order to rotate with him.
As per the French outlet Footmercato (relayed by Pianeta Milan), the player in question who can replace Tomori is 31-year-old central defender Eliaquim Mangala, former player of FC Porto, Manchester City, Valencia and Saint-Etienne.
The centre-back was made aware by the interest of the Rossoneri. However, there is no agreement just yet. The Frenchman, currently a free agent, is on the radar of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara but they want to understand the physical condition of Tomori first.
