Last night, the Rossoneri suffered another defeat against their bitter rivals Inter. Stefano Pioli's AC Milan did not manage to pose much threat to Simone Inzaghi's team. La Gazzetta dello Sport commented as usual on the game and granted these following ratings to the players.
For the newspaper, the best AC Milan player on the pitch was Ciprian Tatarusanu thanks to some important saves. He received 6.5.
Following him, Brahim Diaz was given a 6 for his efforts as he tried to add a fresh breath into the attacking phase when he entered in the second half.
Sandro Tonali and Rafael Leao were granted each a 5.5 rating. Malick Thiaw also had the same rating as he entered late into the game and tried to help out his teammates in defence.
Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia, Davide Calabria, Theo Hernandez and Alexis Saelemaekers were all shown ratings of 5.
AC Milan's Simon Kjaer, Rade Krunic and Divock Origi had ratings of 4.5. Brazilian winger Junior Messias who played in middle of the pitch in the first half was shown also a 4.5 but he was elected as the worst player on the pitch. Head coach Stefano Pioli got a rating of 4.5 as well for his choices and how he managed the team.
