AC Milan is reportedly keeping their sights on Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech as they begin to think ahead to the next season. While the winter transfer market has already ended without the Rossoneri making any big moves, the possibility of Ziyech joining the team at Milanello is still in play.
According to journalist of Tuttomercatoweb, Niccolò Ceccarini, Milan has not given up on their interest in the winger who was previously sought after by Roma. If Ante Rebic leaves at the end of the season, Ziyech could become a concrete option for the right wing of the Rossoneri. However, the stumbling block is still his salary which sits around €6 million, requiring the Moroccan player to make a significant financial sacrifice.
AC Milan are potentially considering a reinforcement for their right flank in anticipation of the upcoming season. The 28-year-old Ziyech's current contract with Chelsea runs until 2025, but he has struggled to cement his position in the starting lineup, leading to speculation regarding his future with the Blues.
Ziyech, who previously played for Ajax, was a part of their Eredivisie-winning squad that reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2018/19. While there is still some time until the next transfer window, it remains to be seen whether or not the Rossoneri will ultimately pursue Ziyech.
